The Yemeni army charges “transitional” forces of storming oil fields in Shabwa.

The army encouraged the Presidential Council and the Arab alliance to advocate for the execution of presidential directives and the imposition of a truce, the release of captured Facilities Protection Forces personnel, the departure of Giants forces, and the defence of Shabwa from oil installations.
On Friday, a presidential panel tasked with fact-finding in Shabwa proposed a number of ways to settle the governorates’ recent clashes.

These initiatives included an all-party cease-fire and the continued operation of army personnel responsible for guarding oil sites and firms.
Shabwa, in Yemen’s southern governorates, is one of the most important governorates owing to its oil resources.
