As President Joe Biden looks to evaluate relations, the White House said he was aware of Saudi Arabia’s recent actions supporting Ukraine and voting against Russia at the UN.
The American president “continues to think strategically about what is the review process and how we go forward with this relationship,” White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre told reporters, adding that the White House has observed recent actions that demonstrate Saudi Arabia’s standing with Ukraine.
“We have noticed since OPEC Plus” for its production that Saudi Arabia voted against Russia at the UN and also pledged to provide 4 million dollars to support the reconstruction of Ukraine, and despite this these steps are not compensated for lowering oil production, it is worth noting,” she continued.
