According to individuals in charge of planning the conference, Turkey is attempting to host a meeting between the energy ministers of Germany and Russia in Istanbul in December.
Abdullah Digger, the organiser of the Istanbul Economic Summit, was cited as saying in the newspaper “Idinke” today, Wednesday: “We can bring together the countries and organisations between them problems. In fact, we would like to bring together the energy ministers in Germany and Russia.

The Istanbul Economic Summit and Turkey will both benefit greatly from this.
“I recommended this to both parties, and they said it was unrealistic, but it may suddenly be able to organise the event within 24 hours,” Diger continued.
The summit, he continued, will take place on December 8 and 9 at the Jaraghan Palace in Istanbul, and the organisers have also invited Russian enterprises. He noted that these companies will actively engage in the forum’s activities.
