According to Clinton, the 2024 presidential elections could be decided by Republican-controlled state legislatures if the Supreme Court rules in favour of North Carolina.
“Only thinking that the presidential elections for the year 2024 could be decided not through popular vote, or even through the outdated electoral commission, but by the legislative councils in the states and many of them are controlled by Republicans,” Clinton said.
The former foreign minister works with progressive groups to influence several state legislative bodies in order to stop this from happening.
Following her defeat to Trump, Clinton and her friends promoted claims that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election.
In 2019, Clinton claimed that the presidential election had been “stolen”.
She continued, “I think it’s crucial to realise that, as I told the candidates who attended my presentation, even if you run the best campaign and win the nomination, the results could still be rigged against you.
