A fire that started on Monday night in Anbar, a school for the blind in central Uganda, resulted in the deaths of 11 pupils and the case of six more who were in critical condition on Tuesday.
The “Salama” school for the blind in the town of Lua, approximately 45 kilometres east of the city, Kampala, according to the Ugandan police, caught fire around the first hour of Tuesday morning.
