Member of the Sovereign Council in Sudan confirms the interest in establishing service projects in South Darfur

Dr. Al-Hadi Idris Yahya, a member of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, confirmed that the federal government is interested in creating service and development initiatives in the state of South Darfur.

In remarks made today, Tuesday, during his inspection tour of several state service and development facilities, a member of the Sovereignty Council pledged to work with the federal government’s competent authorities to meet citizens’ needs and complete projects, some of which are nearing their final stages.

The Great Surve, which costs $6 million and connects Nyala’s eastern and western regions, was the subject of an inspection by a member of the Sovereignty Council, who was accompanied by the governor of South Darfur State, Hamed Al-Tijani Hanoun, members of his administration, and the state security committee.

A member of the Sovereign Council lauded the advanced stages of the hospital project, which amounted to more than 90%, during his visit to the Children’s, Women and Women Facility in the city, demonstrating that this hospital is working to localise care in all of Darfur.

In order to assess the balance of mobile trucks between the states of Darfur and the passing to and from West Africa, the member of the Sovereign Council also examined the stages and operations of the work and performance in the land port of Nyala and the Nyala Stock Exchange, which was built in accordance with the most recent specifications.

The Sovereign Council member emphasised the desire of the federal government, working in tandem with the state government, to lessen the effects of the destructive by a number of valleys that have caused a lot of damage to citizens’ property during the fall season as they stood on several areas where citizens and government facilities were affected by torrential rains during the fall of this year.
