The Minister of Planning and Economic Development meets a group of influencers on social media in the UAE

On the sidelines of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Egyptian-Emirati relations, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, met with a group of influential individuals and content creators on social media (Influences) in the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was attended by Ayman Suleiman, Executive Director of the Sovereign Egypt Fund, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Aqabi, Media Advisor to the Minister of Planning and Economic Development.

Dr. Hala Al-Saeed opened the meeting by extending a warm welcome to the participants and highlighting the significance and influence of social networking sites in building relationships with citizens on a variety of issues. Governments also provide a real opportunity to know the impact of their plans directly on the ground and increase the chances that their policies will be successful. They also provide an opportunity to measure the satisfaction rate when providing government services.

Al-Saeed emphasised that the relations between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates are a unique example of bilateral relations between nations. These relations are based on cooperation and the advancement of shared interests, and the strong ties of brotherhood between the two nations were woven by their leadership and citizens to become an example of Arab Arab relations and their resonance and impact in various fields and at all levels of cooperation, pointing to Cooperation between Arab States.

Hala Al -Saeed reviewed a number of the ministry’s work files and the fields of work of the bodies affiliated with the Ministry of Planning, which includes the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, the National Planning Institute and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, noting the role of Egypt’s sovereign fund, the investment arm of the state in creating investment opportunities in promising sectors Additionally, a balanced and diverse portfolio should be used to achieve sustainable financial surpluses while maximising the value of the state’s assets and resources.

Al-Saeed spoke about the national project for the development of the Egyptian family, which aims to improve the quality of life for citizens by reducing population growth and modernising demographic characteristics. This project is the first to address the population issue from a comprehensive development perspective.
