Moscow wants to strengthen defense on its borders and improve the supply of recruits

In the future, the Russian leadership promised to expedite the screening of new recruits and send more units to the border regions close to Ukraine.
At a government meeting today, Moscow Mayor Serge Sobianin said, “In many localities, especially communities close the border like Beljorod, it is important to take further reactions, and we are working on this with both regions and government.”

Eight months after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Moscow is now subjected to more frequent bombings.
Earlier this week, Ukrainian regional coordinator’s appointment was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Putin chose Prime Minister Mikhail Michosin as the second coordinator of the military operation, and he promised to increase funding for the equipment.

There have been more complaints in recent weeks about how many of Putin’s soldiers had to buy their own equipment since the army stores were either completely or insufficiently stocked with it.

Moscow wants to enhance the supply of recruits and bolster border defences.
