Our world was absent from this morning, Dr. Mahmoud Alam Al -Din, Professor of Journalism at the Faculty of Information and Media Speaker on behalf of Cairo University, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue, who passed away this morning at the age of 69 after a struggle with illness.
It’s important to understand that Dr.
Mahmoud Alam Al-Din is a professor who has trained generations of academics and media professionals. He has made numerous contributions to the field of media and press in all of its printed and electronic forms, as well as served as a consultant for several ministers of higher education in the past. He was also one of the original members of the Cairo University media office and a member of the National Press Authority. He is also a member of the National Dialogue’s Board of Trustees.
