Requests to cancel the transfer of Al -Faisaly and Al -Wehdat match to Al -Hassan Irbid

News from Al-Madinah: Engineer Ali Abu Dutta, the captain of the agricultural engineers, requested in an official letter to Minister of Sports and Youth Muhammad Al-Nabulsi that the Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat match, scheduled for next Friday at Al-Hassan Sports City, be cancelled due to the presence of an agricultural event/pomegranate festival and the fourteenth rural products.

Abu Point defended his demand by pointing out that the festival is supported by hundreds of farmers, producers, rural women, agricultural and cooperative societies, and that the festival’s sales last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are estimated to be worth more than half a million dinars annually, with more than 70% of them occurring on the Friday that the festival will be cancelled.

In addition to contracts with farmers and equipment, which caused a widespread unhappiness between citizens and farmers, it was organised with the Ministry of Culture to operate Friday trips to the festival so that people could go there and shop there.

Al-Naqeeb stated that the event was approved in advance before being advertised as taking place in Hassan Sports City and that it coincides this year with Irbid being named the capital of Arab culture.

For the sake of securing the festival programme, the festival is categorised as touristic, cultural, and agricultural. Technical teams will participate, and the match will either be moved from Hassan Sports City in Irbid to Prince Muhammad City in Zarqa or postponed for the following week.

For Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat match transfers should be cancelled and returned to Al-Hassan Irbid
