Diaa Rashwan, head of the Journalists Syndicate, announced the issuance of the economic conference more than 200 recommendations to be a road map towards reforming the Egyptian economy, based on the results of the sessions that have witnessed its effectiveness over the past three days with the participation of 1,200 members of businessmen, investors and economic experts.
This was said during the 2022 Economic Conference’s closing speech in front of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
1. Increasing the ownership base by prioritising exit by employing a stock offering, then raising cash by bringing in a strategic investor.
2- Improving the sovereign fund’s function by moving a number of state corporations to it.
3. Specifying the time frames for approving investor applications. In the event of delay, the authority’s return is considered an implicit approval to start practicing the activity.
4- Speeding up the payment of export assistance after the paperwork is sent in.
The most crucial proposals of the economic conference on boosting private sector engagement are urgent.
