The Turks are gathering in the streets of Istanbul to see the eclipse of the sun

Hundreds of Turks gathered in the streets of Istanbul on Tuesday lunchtime to witness the partial solar eclipse, which covers a significant portion of the globe.
There will be no total eclipse of the sun anywhere in the world during the second and final solar eclipse of 2022, which will be visible to most people in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and West Asia.
The eclipse of the sun lasts about 4 hours and 4 minutes, and begins at 12:58 pm Abu Dhabi time.

The partial eclipse of the sun happens when the moon’s disc only partially obscures the sun’s disc, giving the impression that it is a part of it.
When the sun is obscured by more than 80% at dusk in the evening, portions of Russia see the eclipse’s biggest average.
The eclipse prayer was previously called for to take place following Tuesday’s midday prayers in all mosques by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the Emirates.

According to a message on its official Twitter account, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Islamic Affairs also instructed mosque imams in every region of the Kingdom to lead the eclipse prayer while observing the sun’s eclipse on Tuesday at noon.

Istanbul’s streets are crowded with Turks waiting to observe the sun’s eclipse.
