The New York Museum opens an exhibition on the British royal family

A sizable exhibition about the British royal family debuts at the Metropolitan Museum in New York about a month after Queen Elizabeth II passed away.
The focus of “Tudor Family: Art and Luxury in the Renaissance in England” will be on the evolution of the arts from King Henry VII to Queen Elizabeth I between 1485 and 1603.
According to museum director Max Holin, “This is a great exhibition that recalls a scenic luxury and the convincing drama of the Tudor era.”

More than 100 items, including some of the most well-known portraits of kings including Henry VII, Mary I, and Elizabeth I, as well as knights’ shields, rugs, candelabra, and paintings, will be on exhibit until January 2023.
