According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, three Palestinians were murdered and 19 others were hurt when charging the Israeli army in the middle of Nablus, with three of them in critical condition.
The ministry withheld the names of the deceased, but local sources told Agence France-Presse that the Israeli army is still occupying various locations in the city, where occasional explosions can be heard.
Ahmed Gabriel, the Red Crescent’s head of ambulance and emergency services in Nablus, reported that “the medical professionals dealt with 3 dead and 19 live bullets, including serious wounded.”
The injured were taken to Rafidia Hospital and the Arab Hospital in Nablus, he continued.
While he heard gunfire and explosions, and saw smoke and flame columns rising from many neighbourhoods, the “Wafa” agency reported that Israeli forces invaded various neighbourhoods in the city’s old town after they had been bombarded.
Additionally, it stated that this was followed by violent clashes between Israeli forces and civilians, which led to the deployment of significant military reinforcements with drone assistance.
Many of the wounded who fell during the storming of the city couldn’t be transported because the Israeli army stopped ambulance teams from getting to the Old City.
