Three Palestinians were killed and 19 others were wounded, three of them in a serious condition in the process of storming the Israeli army in the center of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The ministry withheld the names of the deceased, but local sources told Agence France-Presse that the Israeli army is still occupying various locations in the city, where occasional explosions can be heard.
Ahmed Gabriel, the Red Crescent’s head of ambulance and emergency services in Nablus, reported that “the medical professionals dealt with 3 dead and 19 live bullets, including serious wounded.”
The injured were taken to Rafidia Hospital and the Arab Hospital in Nablus, he continued.
While the “Wafa” agency reported that the Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in the old town of the city after they were bombed, where he heard the sounds of shooting and explosions, and the smoke and flame columns were seen emitting from several neighborhoods.
Additionally, it stated that this was followed by violent clashes between Israeli forces and civilians, which led to the deployment of significant military reinforcements with drone assistance.
Many of the wounded who fell during the storming of the city couldn’t be transported because the Israeli army stopped ambulance teams from getting to the Old City.
