Senior American diplomacy holds a business list in New Delhi

The US State Department has made known that Ambassador Elizabeth Jones has been appointed to a temporary list of US ambassadors in New Delhi, the Indian capital.

According to Ned Price, a ministry spokesman, Jones coordinated the efforts of Afghan citizens, served as the minister of foreign affairs for European and Eurasian affairs, spoke on behalf of the minister of near-eastern affairs, and served as Kazakhstan’s ambassador. She also holds the highest diplomatic degree available to ambassadors in the service.

The spokesperson emphasised that Ambassador Jones will collaborate with the American embassy and consulate teams in India to strengthen the alliance between the governments of Washington and New Delhi, which US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has dubbed one of the most crucial alliances in the world.

In New Delhi, senior American diplomats maintain a business list.
