In airstrikes by a Nigerian fighter jet in the state of Zamfara, at least 30 terrorists were killed.
The terrorists are petty criminals employed by Halilu, a notorious road cutter in the northwest. It is also known that (Halilo), a weapons smuggler in charge of providing weapons to all other terrorists in the states of Zamfara and Katsina, typically operates around Sobo and Anka (Daji statement).
The wealthiest terrorists are also supposed to come from Zamfara, and they are thought to be in charge of several kidnappings, cattle thefts, and other terrorist actions.
Reliable intelligence showed that (Hallelo) had scheduled an early-morning appointment with some of his infantry soldiers in his logistical base in the state’s local Maradun state territory. This information led to the massacre of the Hallelo gang members.
A senior military officer told Zagazola Makama that the intelligence also revealed the site of the logistical base for Hallelo, as he and his colleagues usually store ammunition, vehicles, motorcycles and other looting.
“After days and weeks of ongoing monitoring and surveillance of the signatories and confirming the veracity of intelligence material, NAF aircraft rushed to strike the meeting and Al Qaeda facility in the early hours of October 21, 2022,” he continued.
The pilots observed a large flame ball following the strike on the logistics facility, indicating that the site may have held combustible goods. As a result, both sites were precisely set up at the same time.
The battle damage assessment identified the meeting place and the logistics base that needed to be destroyed.
The reactions from the locals also confirmed that many terrorists were eliminated as a result of the air strike on the site of the meeting, although it is still not certain whether (Hallelo) was also killed in the strikes.
Several terrorists were killed and their bombs were destroyed at Tunbum Aliyu, southwest of Maiduguri, by NAF aircraft operating as part of the Hadin Kai Hadin Kai Kai in the state of Borno.
Similar to this, the environment also enabled air objection tasks in terrorist pockets in Apolum and Najiboul close to the Sambisa forest possible, where many terrorists were killed and others were injured or were spotted fleeing for safety.
