A significant increase in South Korean semiconductor shipments to China

South Korea’s semiconductor sector has witnessed the greatest growth rate in exports to China over the previous two decades, according to research released on Sunday.
According to a Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry report quoted by Yonhap News Agency, semiconductors accounted for only 3.2% of South Korea’s overall exports to China in 2000, but that proportion climbed 12.4% to 39.7% 20 years later.

The research was conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with China in 1992.
