The world is less secure as a result of Iran giving Russia drones to use on targets in Ukraine, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi confirmed on Monday.
Pelosi said this after meeting with André Blancovich, the prime minister of Croatia. “I think Iran is making a terrible mistake,” she continued.
She added, “We must be equipped to deal with drones in particular. This dangerous tactic must be halted.
Pelosi flew in Zagreb on Monday in order to take part in a forum supporting Ukraine’s independence and the return of the Crimea to Kyiv.
Iran, though, has denied giving Russia drones for use in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian army revealed on the tenth day of this month (October 2022) that a number of Russian attacks, including those on Kyiv, were carried out using Iranian-made Model-136 Drones launched from the Crimea and Belarus.
Moscow has previously rejected using Iranian marches, stating that it has adequate offensive capabilities.
It is significant that despite similar Russian and Iranian denials, last week’s protests provoked fresh penalties against Iranian officials and businesses from the United States, Britain, and the European Union.
Pelosi: With the aid of marches from Russia, Iran is committing a grave error.
