Apple continues to lose ground in the Russian phone market, while China dominates.

According to Gizmo China, Apple’s loss in the Russian phone market has been worsened by the outperformance of several Chinese companies, the most recent of which is Tekno Mobile.
Chinese phone companies dominated the Russian market in July 2022, according to figures, with Xiaomi leading the way with 42% of the market share. Realme and Tecno were in the top five, along with Apple and Samsung.
Following an increase in market share from 13.

Realme achieved the fastest growth rate, rising from 4% in June to 17% in July, surpassing Samsung and Apple in sales and placing second.
Although Techno trailed Apple by 0.5% in market share, it was fourth with 7.5%, leaving Apple in fourth with 7%. Samsung finished third with an 8.5% market share.
Apple had a 9.7% share in June, while Samsung had a 10.9% percent in the same month, albeit it decreased in July.

In terms of revenue, Xiaomi led with 35%, followed by Apple with 25%, Realme in third with 12.5%, Samsung in fourth with 11%, and Tecno in fifth with 4%.
2. 3 million smartphones were sold in July for a total of 36. 7 billion Russian rubles (about 595 billion US dollars), with the average selling price reducing by 6% to 16. 1 thousand rubles (261 US dollars).

The decline in both Samsung and Apple was caused by a halt in official supply and a shortage of parallel imports following the two main corporations’ exit from the Russian market months ago due to the war with Ukraine, and imports are currently 80-90% lower than before the war.

Apple is losing ground in the Russian phone market, which is dominated by China.
