Kyiv authorities are chasing the former head of the Ukrainian Central

The National Anti -Corruption Office in Ukraine announced today, Monday, that the former president of the Ukrainian National Bank, Kirill Shevchenko, who was previously accused of embezzlement, has put on the list of wanted persons in the country.
Chevchanko is needed in the case of financial theft connected to “Ukrgasbank,” which he oversaw before to taking over as president of the Ukrainian Central Bank.

Three employees of the “Ocargasbank” bank who were engaged in the theft of more than 200 million Hmriffia (more than $5. 5 million) are being sought by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Office.

The Public Prosecution stated that “they were charged in early October 2022, but by special matter because the place of these people is unknown and since then the suspects have ignored the investigating calls and for this they were placed on the wanted list.” The National Anti-Corruption Office of Ukraine published photographs of the wanted individuals, including Shivchinko.
