Banana protein has been shown in an international investigation to be a promising treatment for all known types of Corona and influenza in animal studies.
The new “Corona” treatment succeeded in animal models, whether it was delivered systematically or by the nose, either preventive or therapeutic, early on the disease, as explained by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Michigan in a blog.
Early in January 2020, a study revealed that a substance related to the protein in bananas can effectively defend against several types of influenza virus.
According to David Markovitz, Professor of Internal Medicine, Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan University, “at that time, we thought that the Middle East respiratory syndrome would be the major aim, which we were concerned about because it had a 35% death rate.”
When Corona “happened,” Markovitz continued, “we of course decided to examine the treatment’s capabilities and found that it was effective against each variety of coronary virus, in the laboratory and in the living body.
As they envision a spray or nasal drops that can be used to prevent or treat Corona and influenza virus infection, in seasonal and epidemic scenarios, his team is now hoping to see treatment being utilised on humans.
The radical component of the treatment, “H84T-Banlex”, carries a unique benefit, according to the team, because, unlike other current treatments for Corona virus, is effective against all coronary virus variables as well as influenza breeds.
The “H84T-Banlex” is made from the isolated fitch protein found in banana fruits, which has observable antiviral properties.
From a component in the banana, researchers develop a ground-breaking therapy for the Corona virus and influenza.
