Guardiola: Halland will break the record for Salah

The Norwegian Erling Halland, which is presently registered in the name of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, will shatter the record for the most goals scored in a single English Premier League season, according to coach Pep Guardiola of Manchester City.
Salah set a record for the most goals scored in a single season, tallying 32 goals in the 38 games the Reds star played in during the 2017–18 campaign.

According to Guardiola’s comments on Man City’s official website, Halland will surpass Salah if he keeps on scoring goals and avoids getting hurt this season.
Guardiola added: “You don’t have to think a lot, if this strong performance and the scoring rate each match will go through this record, but in football you can score and days later you stop and not be able to score goals.

He continued: “Halland will be happy when the team wins and vice versa if we do not win, all the attackers I saw in my career like Samuel Eto’o, David Villa, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Sergio Aguero have an enormous desire to score many goals, this is normal. ”
“I wish him the best in the upcoming years and believe it will be because of his Manchester City teammates.

Halland is the leading Premier League scorer with 17 goals, 6 goals ahead of Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who is his closest rival, whereas Salah has only scored 3 goals this year and is rated 31st.

Guardiola: Halland will surpass Salah’s previous mark.
