The final match of the tournament saw the American Jessica Peugeot overcome the Greek Maria Sakari 6/2 and 6/3 to win the Gadalakar Open tennis title.
Pegola won the Mexican Championship and moved up to third place in the overall professional tennis rankings as a result.
The victory is Pegola’s second career triumph in the World Tennis Association’s individual tournaments and her first in a thousand points. Pegola is 28 years old.
Her win in the competition over subsequent groups of Victoria Azzinka, Chlon Stevens, and Bianca Androcco served as Peugeot’s crowning achievement.
It should be mentioned that Peugeot and Sakari are getting ready to compete in the season’s final tournament, which begins on October 31 and features the top eight players from around the world.
