Iran: We arrested 10 agents working for Israel

Iran has disclosed that it detained ten Israeli spies in western Azerbaijan.
These individuals reportedly had direct communication with Mossad operatives, according to the semi-official Fars Agency.
The agency also said without going into details that they “set fire to the cars of people linked to the security services and their homes, and received money in exchange for taking pictures they sent to Mossad officers,” according to Reuters.

It is noteworthy that Israel accused Iranian agents of planning to target its citizens in Turkey last June, which Tehran denied.
Five Iranians were arrested by the Turkish police at the time for plotting to kidnap and kill Israelis in Istanbul.

Following credible reports that Iranian agents were present and plotting to kill or kidnap Israelis, Israel urged its citizens to exercise caution and due diligence. This was especially important after tensions with Tehran grew after Tehran accused Tel Aviv of carrying out assassinations and sabotage on its soil.

Iran has seen the murder of several Revolutionary Guards officers and nuclear employees over the past few months, and while Israel was fingered as the perpetrator, it kept mute as usual.
