According to the Mexican Meteorological Authority, the powerful “Roslin” Hurricane recently made landfall between the communities of “Puerto Valrta” and “Maztelan” on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, where it caused torrential rains and powerful waves before losing strength and becoming a storm equatorial.

The American National Hurricane Center reported that the hurricane was about 50 miles (80 km) west and northwest of the northern city of Monterrey, while the authority claimed in a statement carried by the American Associated Press news agency today, Monday, that by Sunday night/the speed of the winds of Hurricane Roslin had decreased to 30 miles per hour (45 km / h), down from its peak of 130 miles per hour.

Local media reported that two people died after resorting to unstable buildings collapsing during the hurricane, but the Civil Defense Office for the state of Nayarit in West Mexico said it could not confirm these deaths. The hurricane was moving toward the northeast at a speed of 22 miles per hour (35 km/ h), with expectations that its strength would decrease more as it moves inward and before arriving in the US state of Texas.
