Othman Dembele, a standout for France’s national team, scored one goal and assisted on three others to help Barcelona defeat Athletic Bilbao 4–1 on Sunday in the eleventh round of the Spanish Football League.
With nine victories this season, Barcelona’s score increased against just one draw and one loss, putting it in second position with 28 points, three points behind Real Madrid, its longtime adversary (leaders).
Contrarily, Athletic Bilbao’s championship record, which has seen three losses this year, was stopped at 18 points in sixth position, with 5 victories and 3 draws.
Dembele opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 12th minute, before the two stars Sergey Roberto and Polish Robert Lewandowski added the second and third goals in the 18th and 21st minutes, respectively of the French wing industry.
