New companies heading to China after leaving “Apple” and “Microsoft”

According to a report by the Russian TASS agency on Sunday, Russian analysts anticipated that once some major foreign corporations, like Apple and Microsoft, left, a group of new enterprises would arrive to work in China.

Alexei Massov, head of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University in the Russian capital, was quoted in the paper as saying: “The exit of foreign corporations from China would transform the market and encourage other enterprises to expand output.

“I believe the market will shift quickly, and if we examine the businesses that left China, we will see that they create cheap goods in vast quantities, and that the most profitable places to produce these goods are in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India.

“On the other hand, some businesses—such as Apple—have left China as a result of American pressure, and new businesses will arrive in China soon following the departure of established players like (Apple), (Microsoft), and others.

“New businesses will emerge, and if there are already comparable markets, like Malaysia and India, and if China does not return to its old place as the party that is producing in a massive way, we will see China creating its own items from high-tech goods,” he continued.

After “Apple” and “Microsoft,” new businesses are moving to China.
