News from Al-Madinah: In contrast to his challenger, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, it appears that former Finance Minister Rishi Sonak is receiving support from the British public, the Conservative Party, and several social groups.

In the meantime, Soyla Briverman, the recently-resigned interior minister, declared her support for Rishi.
Steve Baker, the minister of state for Northern Ireland, also declared earlier today that he will support Sonak.
Johnson received 75 votes, and Sonak received 151 from the conservatives.
