Two terrorist cells were detained today, Sunday, according to the Yemeni “Taiz” police, who were affiliated to and working for the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist group. They were accused of installing and detonating explosive devices in the heart of the city. Following their involvement in the crimes of planting and detonating explosive devices in the city centre, the security services detained two terrorist cells totaling six members.
The recent bombing of a military kit in the Qobba neighbourhood, which killed a judge, a girl, and two other Yemeni citizens, as well as the earlier accident involving the detonation of another car near the Central Market in Jamal Street, which resulted in the injuries of three citizens, were all direct causes of the two cells, he continued.
He pointed out that the perpetrators were seized after accurate monitoring operations for the perpetrators and in coordination with the Anti -Terrorism Department and the Criminal Investigation Department . . . stressing that the defendants were deposited to take legal measures in preparation for referring them to the jurisdiction.

Osama Al-Sharabi also went over a statistic on the quantity of terrorist offences committed, the quantity of sought individuals apprehended, and the methods used by the provincial police in these situations.
