Pakistan: High cases of dengue fever in the city of Karachi

In the past 24 hours, 160 additional dengue fever cases were reported in the Pakistani metropolis of Karachi, indicating that the disease is still on the rise there.
The Pakistani newspaper “The Nation” quoted the Ministry of Health in the “Al -Sanad” province as saying that 160 cases of dengue fever were recorded in the region’s capital, in the past 24 hours, which raises the monthly outcome of cases of injury to more than 3000 cases.

The article also stated that 53 patients passed away in 2022 as a result of the ailment, which was spread by mosquitoes. Only 47 deaths out of the total number were reported, all in Karachi.
The disease, which is spread by mosquitoes, has been documented in more than 42,000 cases this year, according to the Ministry of National Health’s report.
4,194 dengue cases and six fatalities have been reported nationwide in the last four days.
