The youngster, identified as Santi, shot his mother in February using the hunting weapon that belonged to his grandfather. He then teamed up with his 10-year-old brother and shot him from behind after he attempted to flee.
After hiding the two bodies, Baddam the child waited for his father to arrive to the house before shooting him. However, the father was able to take the gun away from the boy, causing him to collapse to the ground. Santi was able to fix the gun, kill his father by shooting him twice.
Santi hid the remains at her house and stayed with her for three days. During that time, he played video games in his room guilt-free and called his school, pretending to be a relative, informing them that he had the Corona virus and would not be able to attend.
The strategy, however, was short-lived because he eventually admitted what had happened after some of his relatives began to feel uneasy.
The young man claimed to be in a rage after being denied access to a computer or television, as well as after being required to assist with homework and prevented from going out with his pals, according to psychologists consulted following his arrest.
In a report they wrote that he “understood what he did and the matter was cold and without remorse,” psychologists and other specialists who spoke with him after his arrest stated they had no reason to believe he had any mental disorder.
According to Spanish press accounts, the “quiet” pupil had read a novel about a 16-year-old boy who killed his father and injured two of his three brothers in his school.
The majority of Santi’s six-year sentence, which is the longest allowable under Spanish law for a youngster of his age, is anticipated to pass before he is transferred to an adult jail.
It is interesting that he would have received a 10-year prison term if he had been one year older at the time of the offence.
Press sources claim that the victims’ relations are putting in a lot of effort to prevent him from receiving the inheritance.
