In protest of the recent killings and arrests, which primarily targeted college students and schoolchildren, thousands of instructors have decided not to visit the classrooms.

Amnesty International confirmed last week that at least 23 minors were killed by the security forces during the demonstrations.

While more than 400 demonstrators were killed, according to the National Council for Iranian Resistance.
It is reported that since the death of Amani on September 16 (2022) three days after her arrest by the Ethics Police, and then transferred to a hospital in Tehran, and the demonstrations were not subside in the country.

Her passing has since stoked the flames of resentment over a number of issues, including the limitations placed on individual freedoms and the stringent regulations governing women’s attire, as well as the living and economic crisis that the Iranian people experience, not to mention the stringent regulations imposed by the government system and its political structure as a whole.

Along with prominent singers, athletes, and actors, women participated actively in these demonstrations, as did university students and schools.
On the other hand, the authorities forcefully resisted this movement, arresting hundreds of people without cause in numerous neighbourhoods and locations while also using live ammunition.
