In order to tackle the current problems in countering terrorism, the Austrian Ministry of Interior emphasised today, Sunday, the necessity to strengthen international collaboration.
According to a statement, the Ministry of Interior stressed the need for more inclusive assessments of the situation and a more appropriate response to security threat scenarios at the conclusion of a symposium at the Austrian University of Karimus with the participation of security experts and leaders in the ministry.
The statement added that the current international crises, especially the Ukrainian crisis, and the Koruna’s pandemic, are still on the risk of increasing immigration movements to Austria, which will constitute a greater source of concern in the future, indicating that the fight against terrorism is an essential task in seeking peace.
