The Chinese president wins a third presidential term

The Chinese Communist Party elected President Xi Jinping to a third term as its leader.
According to official media, Xi Jinping promised to “work hard” during his third term at the head of the country.

The Chinese Communist Party also strengthened President Xi Jinping’s position and powers through changes to its charter, which were unveiled on Saturday at the conclusion of its annual conference in Beijing. At the time, Xi Jinping was under full control as he approached an official victory in a third term as the leader of the nation, which is now all but certain.

The Central Committee, the party’s internal “parliament,” was recently revealed by the organisation, which hosts its conference every five years.
The new committee consisting of 205 members will hold its first meeting on Sunday, during which it appoints the 25 members in the new political bureau, which is the Communist Party Resolution and holds the reins of the actual authority in China.

Gentao, the former president of China, was abruptly ejected outside the hall at the closing session of the ruling Communist Party congress, according to videos and images that surfaced on Saturday.

Despite the publicised images and videos, China vehemently refuted the reports, and its media worked to conceal the obvious and embellish the truth of the expulsion by claiming that the former Chinese president “was not fine” when he abruptly left the Communist Party conference’s closing ceremony on Saturday.

China’s president is elected to a third term in office.
