Zellinski: We can drop most Russian missiles and we will improve our capabilities

Russian strikes were started against the infrastructure on a “very large” scale, according to Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski on Saturday night.
He pledged to improve the capabilities of the Ukrainian army with the help of his country’s partners, stressing that the Ukrainian forces are already walked well in shooting off the missiles.

In his evening statement, Zellinski noted that the most recent widespread bombardment had a wide geographic reach and had hit regions in West, Central, and South Ukraine.
He added: “Of course, we do not have the technical ability to destroy 100% of the Russian offensive missiles and aircraft.

Zelinski’s remarks coincide with further Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure in western Ukraine, where authorities in a number of regions of the war-torn nation reported a power outage.
“These are sordid strikes on important facilities . . . the world can stop this terrorism,” Zellinski said.

According to Zellinski, Ukraine is collaborating with other nations to expand the scope of the sanctions to cover “all people in control of Russian propaganda, as well as those called leaders and artists who support or justify terrorism.”
He added that the Russian media and celebrities who supported the Russian military operation “must receive a full package of individual sanctions so that they cannot do anything around the world at all.

At least two civilians were killed in Saturday strikes in the Russian Bilgorod area that borders Ukraine, according to the region’s governor. Following the bombing of “civil infrastructure” in the town of Chipkoko, two civilians perished, and it was also noted that 15,000 people were without electricity.
Midway through October, Russia claimed that Ukrainian bombing on its soil had increased “significantly,” with attacks on Bilgorod, Bransk, and the surrounding towns.

Zellinski: We can shoot down the majority of Russian missiles, and we’ll get better at it.
