St. Paul’s Hospital’s Lights of Hope construction kicks off

On Saturday morning, more than 100 volunteers gathered at St. Paul’s Hospital to begin work on the renowned Lights of Hope fundraising show.
The construction of the elaborate Christmas display will take around six weeks, and the 250 sparkling stars will be unveiled on November 17th.
The target is to generate $3. 6 million, which would fund essential tools, life-saving research, and neighbourhood initiatives in the Providence Health Care area.

Donors have the chance to support healthcare needs through the Lights of Hope programme, which helps to fund life-saving technology and patient comforts.
According to Cecilia Tupper of the St. Pauls Foundation, “We know that the health care system is struggling, and this is an opportunity for the community to band together and lend a hand during the most trying times of the year.”
The foundation reports that the Lights of Hope initiative has raised over $3.

More than $47 million has been spent since 1998, or $6 million in 2021.
