Russian Defense: On July 31, Ukrainian forces in Zaporozhye deployed poisonous agents against our men.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed today, Saturday, that Ukrainian forces deployed poisonous chemicals against Russian soldiers in the Zaporozhye area on the 31st of last month.

Against the backdrop of military failures in the Donbass and other regions, (Ukrainian President Vladimir) Zelensky’s administration permitted terrorist activities using chemical weapons against Russian personnel and civilians, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry acknowledged that on July 31, Russian troops conducting their duties in the Zaporozhye region’s Vasilievka area were sent to hospital after displaying indications of poisoning.

She went on to say that as a consequence of the examinations, botulinum toxin, an extremely poisonous chemical, was identified in the troops’ bodies.

According to the ministry’s statement, in order to determine the causes of the poisoning, specialists from the Ministry of Defense’s Research and Testing Institute of Military Medicine in St. Petersburg conducted an additional analysis, which unequivocally confirmed the presence of a synthetic poison, botulinum toxin type B.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Russia is currently working on compiling documentation verifying these facts with the results of all analyses conducted about the reality of chemical terrorism committed by the Zelensky regime.

She stated that proof of the Kyiv regime’s chemical terrorism will be transmitted to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons via Russia’s Permanent Mission.
