Jordan condemns a Houthi terrorist attack on the ports

The terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi organisation on the ports of Rdoum and the Patriarchate in Yemen was denounced by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Saturday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Yemeni Expatriate Affairs called the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Jordanian Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi.

The consequences of the terrorist attack by the Houthi organisation were explored during a speech by Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister put his Jordanian counterpart, in the form of developments in the situation in Yemen, the repercussions of the terrorist Houthi attack, which represents a clear violation of international resolutions and the targeted efforts to reduce the escalation and reach an agreement that ends the Yemeni crisis and achieves security and stability.

Al-Safadi referred to the Houthi attack as “a terrorist crime” that undermined efforts to end the Yemeni crisis and reestablish security and stability.
The Houthis replied to efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in accordance with the resolutions of the UN and the approved references, and Al-Safadi emphasised the necessity of renewing the truce that had lessened the effects of the crisis on the amiable Yemeni people.

He praised the policies of the legitimate Yemeni government and its efforts to bring about peace in the brotherly country, emphasising that Jordan will continue to stand by the brotherly Yemeni people, support the legitimate government’s policies and efforts to resolve the crisis, and act in a way that ensures Yemen’s security and the security of its Gulf Arab neighbours.
