The economic conference, according to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli earlier this month, aims to produce a road plan for the nation’s economy going forward.
400 to 500 representatives of national and international organisations are expected to attend the press conference in Madbouli.

According to the spokesman for the Cabinet, the conference intends to create clear policies and actions to improve the competitiveness and flexibility of the Egyptian economy.
The schedule of the conference includes a number of sessions grouped into three political approaches, including macroeconomic policies, private sector empowerment and the building of a business climate, and the formation of a future road map for the government’s key sectors.

The economic conference will work in tandem with Egypt’s National Dialogue’s economic axis, which aims to find common ground on national goals amongst political and partisan forces.

In light of the current global issues, Egypt’s Economic Conference will begin on Sunday.
