The president of the Association of Wine Producers in France, Amelie Petit, announced that wine production will decline and its producers will lose large quantities of it due to drought and high temperatures this year.
This decline cannot be described as catastrophic, Petit explained, and the French will not be without wine.
She explained that there are many climatic factors that have affected wine production since the beginning of 2022, such as frost and cold, which led to a decrease in the volume of production in various vineyards in France, and drought and extreme heat in summer, which will also affect the volume of wine production.
