Montenegro Parliament votes to dismiss two loyal ministers to the West

The caretaker government’s two Western-loyal ministers were fired by a vote of the Montenegrin parliament.
The NATO member Montenegro Republic is situated on the Adriatic Sea (NATO).
In the 81-seat parliament, 41 Serbian-aligned members voted on Friday night to fire Foreign Minister Ranko Krivocapic and Defense Minister Racco Konific.

The two ministers from the “Social Democratic” party who are allied with the West, according to Prime Minister Drin Abazovic, are working against the government’s interests.
On Montenegro, there is a fierce power struggle going on: factions that support Serbia and Russia are trying to remove the pro-Western president, Milo Djakanovic, from office and bring charges against him for corruption. Montenegro was led by Djkanovic to secede from Serbia in 2006 and move toward joining NATO in 2017.

Since Parliament lost faith in it in August, the Abazovich government is doing its official obligations.
