German Wolfsburg apologizes for the inappropriate behavior of his players

Wolfsburg, a German football team, apologised on Saturday for some of its players’ lack of dedication in wearing masks during the squad’s train ride to Bayer Leverkusen before the match. The players also showed respect for the railroad workers.

A video recorded by an employee of the “ARD” channel was on the same train by chance, which showed that several players were not committed to wearing the masks and their cynicism was repeated on an employee who reminded them several times to wear the muzzle during the trip on Friday.
In the footage, the employee of the television network was heard saying, “I don’t think the players’ conduct is decent.”

In a statement released prior to today’s match in the German League (Bundesliga) games against Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg acknowledged that its players had engaged in “unacceptable behaviour.”
In the statement, Wolfsburg said: On behalf of the entire team, Wolfsburg apologises for the improper and improper behaviour of his players. He also expresses his regrets to the staff of Deutsche Ban because of the players’ disrespectful behaviour towards them.

The club also stated that what transpired was not consistent with the team’s customary conduct and in no way adhered to the club’s core principles.
The club stated that coach Niko Kovac dealt with the matter immediately after reaching the team’s residence hotel, and that detailed investigations will take place after returning from Leverkusen..
