German Chancellor Olaf Schults promised that his administration will fully support individuals and businesses in their efforts to lessen the burden of rising energy prices.
The message to the populace is that everything has been done to help them, and we will do so, Schultz declared today, Saturday, at the (Social Democratic) conference in Bavaria.
According to the socialist politician, “We will use a lot of money to ensure that the prices remain, for large and small businesses and for residents, within the usage of the period in which these costs will become too costly, otherwise (i.e. without the support mechanism)”.
He clarified that the German government had made provisions for this purpose both at the European level and domestically, for instance, by establishing the Stability and Economy Fund on Friday through the German parliament in order to lower the country’s high energy prices and aid businesses in coping with the crisis.
He said that this fund will be able to help 200 billion euros “to reduce the burdens of citizens and companies, small and large, so that we can together pass this period.
Schultz also emphasised that the government had timely put together the necessary instruments. We made a swift decision. Additionally for businesses that caused a stir in regions of Europe.
Schultz pledges to provide Germans and businesses with all-out assistance in easing the strain of rising energy prices.
