Aboul Gheit condemns the Houthi militia attack on the Yemeni oil port

According to the media, the Houthi militia attack on the Yemeni oil terminal was denounced today, Saturday, by the secretary-general of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The alliance emphasised that it will implement “operational measures to safeguard civilians and noteworthy civilians from hostile assaults.”
According to the Houthi coalition, “hostile strikes against innocent civilians in Marib” violate both human values and the fundamentals of international humanitarian law.

In order to support the internationally recognised Yemeni government that is allied with President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi and is engaged in combat with the Houthi forces supported by Iran, who have been in control of Sanaa since 2014, Saudi Arabia has been leading the Arab coalition since March 2015.
