On Friday night, a representative of the British Conservative Party declared that Rishi Sonak had received the endorsement of more than 100 deputies to run for the party’s leadership and subsequently, the position of Prime Minister.
The party’s majority official, Graham Brady, had said Thursday that the candidates to succeed Liz Terrace “will need to support at least 100 members” out of 357 governors, according to the rules presented by the Conservative Party.
