According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Ukrainian troops are utilizing Nazi-German methods in combat operations, and he announced the deaths of 100 militants, including 20 Americans, in air attacks on Ukrainian forces’ installations in Kharkiv.
Shoigu stated, addressing the First International Anti-Fascist Conference, that the US aimed to turn Ukraine into an anti-Russian territory, and that the West’s attempts to exclude Russia from the United Nations were foolish and futile.
On the other side, the Donetsk People’s Republic stated that a unit of Ukrainian military had surrendered fully in the Zaitsevo area.
According to a statement released by the Donetsk troops and cited by the Russia Today channel, the unit of Ukrainian soldiers stationed in Zaitsevo issued a request to discontinue the resistance and opted to willingly surrender their weapons.
The statement stated that the Ukrainian unit’s posts had been taken over by Donetsk troops.
