The US budget deficit for the fiscal year 2022 declines by 53%

American data showed that the budget deficit declined for the fiscal year, October 2021 – September 2022, by 53% to record $ 1. 375 trillion, compared to about $ 2. 77 trillion in 2021.
This fall fits into the budget’s framework of low spending on combating the Corona virus in addition to the usual revenues, but the costs of student loan exemption restrained the decline’s growth.

According to the US Treasury, revenue climbed by 850 billion dollars, or 21%, from the prior fiscal year, to reach a new record of $4.89 trillion.
Spending for the fiscal year that ended on September 30 decreased by 550 billion dollars, or 8%, from the budget for the previous year, reaching a record $6.27 trillion.

US Vice President Joe Biden made a statement regarding the decrease in the budget deficit, claiming that his administration did it while increasing spending on infrastructure and extending benefits to Americans with medium and low incomes.

Despite this, the government approved the budget last month at a cost of 430 billion dollars in favour of the government’s plan to exempt students’ debts, which amounts to 20 000 dollars for former university students whose income is less than 125 000 dollars. September expenditures alone increased by six times on an annual basis. For the armed, the amount in a year is less than $250,000.

For fiscal year 2022, the US budget deficit decreases by 53%.
