The Trump committee also requested a number of documents, including a report on all the interactions he made on January 6, 2021, before the fourth of November, according to a post they released.
Benny Tomson and Vice President Liz Cheney addressed Trump, saying, “We know that the issuance of a summons to a former president is an important and historical practice, and we do not treat with this procedure slightly.”
It is not yet clear how Trump and his legal team will respond to the summons.

Trump is summoned by the “Capitol attack” committee to appear before it.
