Houthi attack on Al -Daba oil port in Hadramout

On Friday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, launched a two -run attack on Daba oil port in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate, southeast of the country.
Two car bombs targeted the oil terminal east of Mukalla, according to a pictorial statement from Hadramout’s governor, Mabkhout bin Madi.

He explained that the Houthi militia launched two car bombs to target the oil port of Al -Daba, in conjunction with the arrival of the ship for transporting crude oil shipments from the port.
Bin Madi noted that the Houthi attack was launched from a region between Marib and Al-Jawf and claimed that a Houthi march was dropped and that no casualties or property damage were sustained.

The Hadramout governor indicated that steps were being taken with the government and alliance nations to stop such tragedies.
Local residents in the city of Al -Shahr and the areas surrounding the port reported that explosions were heard at two o’clock this afternoon, followed by security and military forces closed all roads leading to the port.

The strike occurs approximately two weeks after the Houthi militia threatened to target oil corporations and international shipping on the eve of the termination of the ceasefire.
The United Nations’ endeavors have yet to reach an agreement to renew and expand the truce that has passed early this month, due to the Houthi militia imposing additional demands described as unacceptable..
